Fun With Zippy

Yes, Zippy made the short trek from Arkansas to Oklahoma.

He roughly followed the arrow on the above map.

And arrived safely just outside of Tulsa, OK.

The thing that struck Zippy about Oklahoma was the wildlife he saw.  When you think about Oklahoma, you think about people dancing around in cowboy hats and Twisters.

Sorry.  Not that kind of twister…

This kind.

After he arrived, he was thoroughly checked out by the local wildlife.

Zippy gets along well with dogs, but this cat seemed annoyed.

PK then took Zippy to see some of the locals.

But he first insisted at going to Panera for some coffee.

Here Zippy is in a mortal struggle with PK’s son for the cup of coffee.  I don’t have to tell you who won…

Then on they went to swan lake.  This famous lake inspired Tchaikovsky to write his famous ballet, as he was originally from Tulsa.  They never got a chance to get to Nutcracker City Park.

The strange thing about Swan Lake City Park is that they couldn’t find any swans.

There was a duck crossing.  Perhaps they were looking for swans too.

Zippy asked this young man, but all he got was lectured about how to avoid pigeons.

There are the ducks….

"Hey Guys, have you seen the swans anywhere?"

But no swans were to be found.  PK suggested that perhaps the people at the local Bass Pro Shop would know….

This nice lady told Zippy that while there were no swans, there were lots of other animals in the store.

These ducks were very unhelpful.  They just sat there and ignored the very friendly lobster in their midst.

The deer could direct him to a salt-lick (Zippy told them about an ocean full of salt and they were amazed), but they didn’t know anything about swans.

The bear said he didn’t know, but if Zippy found them, he was getting hungry and would like to know where to find swans.  This gave Zippy the creeps, so he stopped looking for swans.

He made his escape.

Then, he played a little.

"Yeah!  If I ever find swans, I am going to show them who’s boss."

Zippy gets ready for the X-Games.

So what about the sites of Oklahoma?  Just hold on.  There are many more things he saw and did with PK.
